This is one of the many washes in Tucson. A wash is like a big ditch that collects water when it rains or after the snow melts in the spring from the surrounding mountains. This wash is made of concert but some are walled off land that have bushes and trees in them. Animals, like coyotes, use these as highways to get into the city.
